Owned and run by the Yeates family since 2010, this beautiful Mudgee (NSW) based vineyard is one of the oldest in the region, with the first young vines planted in 1968. The vineyard has a history of producing exceptional grapes used in high quality, award-winning wines such as Rosemount's 'Mountain Blue'. The vineyard produces Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz grapes which are grown over an area of 16 hectares. We are working hard to manage our vines in an environmentally sustainable way through use of non-harmful sprays and organic fertilizers. Once harvested, the best of the grapes picked from the vineyard are delivered to nearby local winemaker Jacob Stein (Gourmet Traveller's 2012 Young Winemaker of the Year) who works closely with the family to produce YEATES wines.
