THE YEATES VINESTAY

—The Gate House AND The Vine Loft / Sleeps 4 —

Located on either side of the cellar door, our Vinestay is perfect for those travelling with family, another couple, or work colleagues. The Gate House sleeps two, while the Vine Loft also sleeps two, both within easy walking distance of one another but with enough space between to enjoy a little downtime.

The location.

Nestled amongst the vines, we’re just 5-minutes drive from the heart of Mudgee and within ‘the golden triangle’ of the region’s wineries. This means that you can stroll between cellar doors or get around via bike, car or uber/taxi.

Our Vinestay spaces are located above and beside our cellar door, so a glass of wine is just metres from your door. You’re also welcome to make use of the lawn - do some yoga, watch the sunset by the dam, get to know the local wildlife or settle in at the cellar door.

The Vinestay experience.

Our Vinestay includes accommodation in our two self-contained and luxuriously appointed one-bedroom accommodation spaces - the Gate House and the Vine Loft. Each sleeps two people and you can book the spaces individually or together as a Vinestay. This truly immersive experience begins with a complimentary wine tasting or glass of wine at the cellar door and ends with a lazy late checkout (11am). We are a family-owned and run business so things are fairly relaxed at Yeates.

The architecture & design.

In keeping with our focus on sustainability, the property is solar powered and has been designed by Cam Anderson Architects. It was constructed by Penney Constructions using energy efficient rammed earth, hardwood and corrugated iron, with rainwater tanks to collect water. Liv Johnson Interiors is responsible for the interior fit-out with styling from one of our own, Anna Yeates.
