The Vinestay

—The Gate House AND The Vine Loft —

If organised upon booking/in advance, an in-house chef can be arranged to prepare dinner for you to enjoy together. This truly immersive experience involves the pairing of locally sourced seasonal produce with a range of Yeates wines. We’ll also throw in the exclusive use of our tasting room. • Our cellar door opening hours are subject to change. We will sometimes open on the Monday of a public holiday for example and open later on Fridays over the summer. There are times when we may decide to close the cellar door due to holidays or unforeseen circumstances as well. It is the responsibility of our guests to check on this prior to their stay. We will let you know if we are hosting an event of any kind though and give you the opportunity to cancel with a full refund if it doesn’t suit you.

    • You are welcome to make use of the cellar door lawn and furniture during your stay but we do ask that you don’t consume your own food on cellar door premises during business hours.

    • Please be mindful of our cellar door guests.

    • You are welcome to take a stroll through the vineyard provided you are mindful of biosecurity. Stick to the gravel pathways and roads if you can, and let us know if you’ve been in a wine region recently so we can prevent the spread of any disease.

    • Our accommodation has been designed to be central but feel private. Double glazing, the use of highly insulative materials, and the positioning of each space mean they remain relatively quiet and private, even during business hours. If you are concerned about this, best to book your stay Monday to Wednesday when the cellar door is closed so you can have the place to yourself.
